I was getting these red spots around my eyes, and I suspected CO. Once I stopped (and went back to using my Avalon Organics moisturizer-not ideal), they went away. Now that I made lotion, I've been using that, and I love it!! No red bumps either. I made it with olive oil. The red bumps caused by CO have now been confirmed by two other friends of mine. Weird, I know. But if you start getting red bumps around your eyes, just remember...it might be the coconut oil. :)Homestead Mamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06269086518018837522noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6135688071438034078.post-78237108493980832892012-02-14T18:32:43.158-08:002012-02-14T18:32:43.158-08:00Thanks for the recipe, Sarah! About the coconut oil: I started using it on my face (because I remember you saying you use it on yours) and since I have started about a month ago, I have not broken out at all! Amazing! Also, I give my kids a scoop of it on their dinner plates, and since it's winter and cold, it is hard. I call it a coconut cookie, and they love it! :)Emilyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17756464930123527691noreply@blogger.com
