Here goes...
So, I've thought about blogging for a loooong time. Why haven't I done it? Partly because I don't know where in the world I will find the time. But partly because I'm a little afraid that nobody will want to read it, or that I'm not a good enough writer. But I've decided that I want to chronicle my kids' childhoods, to document our adventures in learning to homestead, and that I need to make the time because these reasons are important enough to do so. And if people read it, great. If they don't, then, well, that's great too.

I just wanted to tell you that 1)I'm SO GLAD you took the plunge. This will be such a fantastic way for you to keep all of us current with the wonderful everyday happenings of your precious family. 2) It SO DOES NOT matter whether or not you are the best OR worst writer in the world- you are blogging from the heart, and sharing stories and events that are real and meaningful. That's all that matters! 3) I was just thinking...what a wonderful gift you are giving to your children, by creating a lifestyle where their character and building relationships is the emphasis! Especially in today's world....I know we've talked about this before...but they are bombarded by so much CRAP, and to see you taking the emphasis off of material things and onto their development and discovery- it's just awesome to watch (read). Okay, that's it for now. I promise to comment frequently, so keep on blogging.
